Make it Real. Prosper Joyfully!

We’ve arrived at the fourth stage—Make It Real. By this point, the JUMP! model has assisted you with creating some amazing, insightful, creative, and powerful Aha!’s. However, the process involved in generating ideas (Stages One, Two, and Three) is very different from the process involved in implementing ideas (Stage Four). Turning good ideas into action requires critical evaluation, decisiveness, courage, and a commitment to see things through to completion.
This stage is about taking action. After all, even the greatest ideas, if not manifested, are useless. In other words, if you are not going to commit to take action, you might as well not go through the effort of creating Aha!’s in the first place. Just remain in close contact with the status quo, because that’s what you’ll have. Commitment here is beyond just the decision to act. It involves ensuring that the right conditions exist for a successful implementation. A commitment includes unified leadership as well as the necessary time, money, and other resources to ensure success. If you don’t have the right conditions for success, you are allowing failure to be an option. And failure can’t be a choice if you’re serious about JUMP!.
